This Privacy Policy explains what information Author Media Kit (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you visit our website, use our free tools or buy from our store, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email us at sales@tokscalex.com.
Information we collect
When you buy from us. To process your order and deliver your download, we collect your name, email address, billing address and order details. Payments are handled by our payment processor, WooPayments (powered by Stripe). If you choose a pay-later option such as Afterpay, that provider handles it. We never see or store your full card number.
When you create an account or contact us. If you create an account, we store your login details and order history. If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
Automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical information: your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you visit and how you arrived at our site. Some of it is collected through cookies (see below).
Our free tools
Our free tools, including the KDP Spine Width & Cover Size Calculator and the Author Bio Generator, run entirely in your web browser. The details you type into them are not sent to us or stored by us, and downloaded templates are generated on your own device.
How we use your information

How long we keep information
We keep order records for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and legal purposes. We keep other information only as long as it is useful for the purposes described above, and then delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses of it, to withdraw your consent, and to receive a copy of your data.
If you live in California or another U.S. state with a privacy law, you can ask what personal information we have collected about you, ask us to delete it, and opt out of the “sharing” of your information for targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Our website uses HTTPS encryption, and payment details are handled by PCI-compliant payment processors. No method of storing or sending data over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children’s privacy
Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
